A little Christmas magic for young carers
Patricia is already gathering selection boxes, sweets and festive treats for Edinburgh Young Carers. She says supporters helped her donate around 150 gifts last year, and she would love to do it again.
Her Wonderful Org appeal sits alongside that collection, giving people a way to contribute money. Patricia explains that donations help the charity support families with essential items and assistance over Christmas.
The page has a £200 target and was waiting for its first donation when checked on 30 September. If you would like to help Patricia get started, you can donate through her fundraising page.
Edinburgh Young Carers is registered in Scotland as SC026270. The page showed £0 donated and £0 Gift Aid on 30 September. Last year’s gift total is Patricia’s account.

School days worth remembering
A theatre trip, a class adventure away from home, a Halloween disco. Friends of Stawley School helps make room for these experiences alongside the everyday school routine.
The charity lists support for transport to Legoland and the theatre, a contribution towards a class residential and a reading subscription. For a donor looking for a local cause, these are easy things to picture helping children enjoy.
Its Wonderful Org page showed £3,839.50 donated plus £826.13 Gift Aid on 30 September. You can visit the charity’s page to support its work.
