The bank checks who is paying.
The customer authenticates with the bank using the same app-based method they already use. The Open Banking Standard says the payment provider must not ask the customer for banking credentials during this handover.
After the customer approves, the bank returns the journey to Wonderful. Wonderful receives status information and shows the merchant the stage reached. The reference keeps that result attached to the right sale.
